Real Feminism

If there is one ideology that most of the people misunderstood is Feminism. There are people who never have read about it, the emergence of Feminism and it's three waves. But, they are more vocal when it comes to this issue than anyone else.

They don't know that it was all started during the French Revolution, however it was already there from years before! But it got a spark when "Marry Wollstonecraft" collected these segregate thoughts in her work "A Vindication of the Rights of Woman: With Strictures on Political and Moral Subjects (1792)".

In India, no body is guided by any proper ideological principles. Everyone just have his/her own thoughts for self benefits only.

Where as, Feminism is one the most beautiful ideology that talks about "Existence" and gives priority over "Essence". It talks about freedom of thoughts. It empowers not just women but men also.

People are so uneducated, that they end this in a men vs women war! (Here, mere having college degrees don't make you educated). This is bound to happen when they will make wrong people as their idols!

Education is the key! Read as much as you can before making a thought. And it should not be very rigid as there is always a scope to improvement.

Keep reading! Keep improving!

The Issue of Reservation in India

The issue of Reservation in India is like a double edged sword. It is so complex that the people tend to get away from discussing over this issue. Even if putting it simply, if you say that reservation is must, the people who don’t get it will get angry. And on the other hand, if ask to end the reservation policy the people who are taking the benefit of it will surely get offended. This how it works in this second most populous country of the world. I think India is the only major country to have this practice of giving reservation based on birth in particular caste.

There are many other issues related to the reservation. But one thing is important to note that it is not benefitting the people for whom it was actually made. Even after proving reservation there are some castes within the groups of OBCs, SCs and STs which are neglected and still competing hard for their representation. A major shift is required, now we need to look who is still left behind among these big groups. Well, we also have to look over caste based discrimination as it is still there. The form may have changed but still it have a deep impact at some places. Being in the academic zone and from lutyens Delhi to the top most offices of this country I have seen this and even witnessed personally.

We have to end this. We have to change our mind-set. We need to work at ground zero. And one way to reduce this by promoting inter caste marriages which is still a taboo at many places in India. We have to teach the upcoming generation and have to save them with the menace that our ancestors left for us.

The Modern Murders

The Modern Murders!

We may have evolved in the way we live, facilities and adopting modern life style. But as a society we are still lacking in this race to infinity. We have lost true human values and sentiments are just sided to the edge of closed doors. The pressure created from childhood to the last breath break us bit by bit. As an individual one finds self, fighting with greater version of own in the parallel world. The race to superhuman and perfection kills uncountable humans daily. 100 percent marks, best jobs, profit making, social security and many such other parameters fix the right to live with dignity. There are big barriers like money, prestige and nepotism that stand like Everest even if someone tries to move across.

Many are able to absorb this pressure and many do not. Some feel better to end their physical existence. Undoubtedly, that is wrong and should not be practiced but there are many who do exists physically but their souls are already been killed. These modern murders do not make bloodsheds and they just bury the every evidence. This do not took place by any weapon like gun or knife but the human brains. The culprit is not any particular individual but many and the mind-set of present society. Survival of the fittest do existed in the early human ages but even today it is with us. Nothing have changed. We need to think about the future generations. Coming time will be tougher!

Borderline Personality Disorder

 Borderline Personality Disorder

This disorder is difficult. Everyday is a battle in your head. Fighting your emotions, reminding yourself that you are good enough and your friends don't hate you!

One wrong word, one look, anything that feels like rejection, is rejection. Then you obsess about it. You pick things apart. It is a war zone in your own mind. Trying to control everything in your head is pain staking. Exhausting.

You want to be alone but you don't want to be lonely. When you do make a connection, you attach yourself. You obsess because that is what you do. No calls, no messages, no meetings = rejection! It doesn't matter the reason. You become overbearing, annoying. Bad enough that you push people away. Then you are alone!

How many people are standing on the bridges you burn?

Some days it feels like you don't have a heart. Other days it feels like it is going to explode out of your chest.

Some days suck, some days are great but you never know what each day holds. You never know who you will be in the morning.

Always exhausted but never able to sleep. There is no end. This disorder is a prison and learning to live with it is the only way to survive it.

How to stop worrying?

How to stop worrying?

#ReCreatingViews

Know one thing – one day you are going to go under the ground. You will be finished. Everybody else will also be finished. What are you worried about? You are worried about money? You are worried about somebody’s opinion? You are worried about prestige? You are worried about your health? There are four things that people worry about –Money, Relationship, Prestige and Health! All of them is going to go away one day. Then why worry.

See life from a bigger context. Ten years ago, didn’t you worry? You are still alive. Five years ago, didn’t you worry? You are still alive. Three years back you worried. This worrying did not do anything to you. You only created more toxins in your body. Life anyway goes on.

Life is a balance between free will and destiny. How many of you have this question about free will and destiny? Is life all destined or is it all free will? I tell you, life is a combination of both free will and destiny. Your height is your destiny but your weight is your freewill.

You can’t say this my destiny is to weigh 100 kilos. I will tell you to get on to the treadmill. And don’t eat those burgers. So, your weight is your free will and your height is your destiny.

Similarly, it’s raining is destiny, whether to get wet or not is your free will.

Why every girl need to be educated and must do a job?

Women in India have been regarded with the utmost respect and has given a very higher place in society from the very early time. For any nation's progress, it is essential to empower women. As women creates and shapes the future of the nation building.

But India today is facing lot of challenges. The biggest challenge is dropping out of girls from schools which is propelled by multiple social circumstances. These include early marriage, poverty, lack of safety in schools, lower expectations of girls' education and traditional gender norms.

Right to Education (RTE) may have brought out many changes to the Indian education system. But RTE has failed to acknowledge, and therefore to address, the most pressing reason why girls have been unable to go to school in India, housework. The RTE has no provision for banning housework or agricultural work for children.

As their mothers step out to work in the informal sector or as farmers or agricultural laborers to substantiate the family income. Many underprivileged girls are shouldering the burden of care and housework.
In a report last year, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had said, around 40 percent of 15 to 18 year old girls were out of school and among them almost 65 percent were engaged in household work.

Adolescence is an important transitioning phase and girls are not allowed to be involved in any kind of constructive work important for development of our nation and are confined to household work.

Somewhere we are still living in a patriarchal society. Where any substantial change is seen as a attack on the ego of male domination. They don't want the women to get out and involve in any profession. Reason behind this is given that, care of a child is only done by his mother and if should would go out, it will impact the upbringing.

Why only a woman is forced to take care of the children? Why not the father, stay at home and do the work. Why don't the society think beyond this all. There may be many situations that can occur all of sudden.

For example, If a girl is not educated or even after being educated, she don't have a experience of job. What if at the age of 35-40, her husband divorced her? What if her husband meet with an accident and dies? From where she will get job, to live her life and to do upbringing of her children.

We may have get away from gender discrimination. But gender biasness is still present. So what is the difference between discrimination and biasness? Biasness is also a form of discrimination, but it is invisible. When a boy is given preference for any job rather than a girl even if she is capable.

India's condition when seen in context of higher education is not much satisfactory. Very few girls get the higher education. As they have to fight with various kinds of challenges. Starting from home to society and at the Institutional level.

Indian women contribute only 18 percent to the country’s GDP,  one of the lowest in the world, and only 25 percent of India’s labor force is women. According to McKinsey’s gender parity report. India could add a whopping $770 billion to the country’s GDP by 2025 by encouraging girls to study and participate in the workforce.

Daughters are not a burden but the pride of the whole family. We can realize the power of our daughters when we see a woman fighter pilot. The country feels proud whenever our daughters bag gold medals, or for that matter any medal, in the Olympics.

There is a need for a much larger collective effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of eliminating “gender disparities in education and ensure equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples and children in vulnerable situations”.

We have to form a society, where equal opportunities are provided to each girl.  She can fulfill her dreams. No one would able to question her abilities. We as a male, don’t have to fight for our acceptance. But they have to, so it’s our duty to provide them wings so that they can fly high in the sky.

Sometimes

Sometimes you have to just give yourself a little bit more time to find your groove again and allow yourself time to build momentum.

It's not always easy to pick yourself up and get back in the game. It's not always easy to feel motivated and inspired or even energised.

Sometimes, you just have to be patient and allow yourself time to just find yourself and find your flow once more.

We all go through periods in our life, where we feel uncertain, weak and uninspired. That's only natural. So rather than beating yourself up, start to accept and embrace the natural flow of life and give yourself time to work things out.

Everything comes around, in time. The same is true for you and your outlook, mindset and energy levels. Success isn't always about doing BIG things, it's often about managing yourself and your expectations so you can move forward.

Sometimes, you just have to be still and find that place within that allows you to be at peace with whatever you are doing.

Sometimes, just getting up and facing the day is good enough.
Doing the best that you can, while you work through your own issues and challenges is always good enough.

You will find your flow again. But for now, you might just need to give yourself a little bit more time to work things out and find yourself and your place in the world.
