The GPS Friend

One would be extremely lucky in one’s life if one finds a best friend who has an extremely rich mind of his own.

For there are some perspectives which your parents, your spouse, your duniyaadari friends , not even YOU YOURSELF (with all the might of your vainglorious ego)- CAN NEVER EVER GIVE to yourself. Only that friend can.

Especially in times when you are struggling in your life – you need THAT friend to sink in the right stuff into your head. You need that friend to drill the RIGHT and not the EASY (& worldly) into your psyche. You so need him to upgrade your software because your old algorithms aren’t that smart now & have become virus susceptible. Even if ‘All is well’ in your life- your that friend can still dazzle you with another brilliant way of doing your life better.

I pity those people who just have ordinary friends and relatives advising them with sub-ordinary ways to push life. An intelligent friend in your life will expose you to vistas which could not only be refreshing for your soul but also could turn out to be Eureka.
I had almost lost my THAT good friend to the dusty, ego-blinding winds of wordly reasons many years back.

And the daily, hearty conversations now are daily challenging my erroneous neural networks & putting me on the path of more righteousness.

Go claim your THAT friend back in case you lost him/her for some random, small reason sometime back in your life. Maybe he is that GPS that could get you THERE.

Made my life cheerful and bright

Showering your affection over me 

So that my face is full of glee

Taking away my complete loneliness

And giving me back all the happiness 

With a Midas touch of your care 

To keep me away from despair
